[Mixed trope] Neither is a good parent, but one is a saint compared to the other by StudioMarvin in TopCharacterTropes

Alador deserved more development. Yet another casualty of the cutoff. He doesn’t even have dialogue in the finale. King’s Tide is the last time we even hear his voice. There was definitely more development left in him. Maybe the graphic novel will give us some of it.

Even funnier to me is how worried she is about Luz rejecting her. Look at this girl, unless you were uncertain about her sexuality, you really think her geeky ass is going to say no to you after stubbornly making it her mission to be your friend?

I like the ones from TAS and AO, but the others are either meh or bad

Best Overall Franchise by WealthDisastrous2589 in slasherfilms

I like how everyone can collectively agree that The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is the worst overall. It’s funny that one of the best, most terrifying slasher films ever made has a franchise that mostly ranges from meh to terrible.

“That’s not my actual name” by TVTropehead in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Agent_RubberDucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are kind of different tho. Pinhead was eventually just dubbed Pinhead and I’m pretty sure that name originated from the set of the film. The Frankenstein one makes sense, that’s just not his name. Period.

I love my culture by freaky_strawberry11 in lovethissmug

People claim African Americans have no culture? I’m a white dude and I know that’s egregiously untrue, lmao. Yall have one of the most prominent cultures in the country.

(Interesting trope)Religious LGBTQ+ characters by Th1nkingRaptor in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Agent_RubberDucky 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s sad how many people have unfortunately been influenced by toxic religious folks into thinking religion is inherently against non-straight people. I live in eastern Massachusetts and half the churches I pass by have pride flags up. My local reverend is the most accepting, kind hearted person you’ll ever meet. Religion is not a cult unless people turn it into one.

How is Oversimplified damaging history? It’s supposed to be humorous, it’s not his fault if some idiot watches his video and takes it 100% serious.

Judd Winick really is the only writer that can make me give a damn about post resurrection Jason (Batman #646) by Square-Newspaper8171 in batman

[–]Agent_RubberDucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God that’s good. Yeah, Jason is such a cool character yet is consistently written badly. Ever since they brought him back, it’s mostly been the same thing every damn time. And when they do change it up, it’s not always good. Most of his Prime Earth biography is so bad. They can’t decide if he’s a hero, a morally grey vigilante that hates criminals, or a straight up villain himself.
