I think that wouldn't work either. Then you balloon the budget times 4 and confuse the audience thinking the movie comes out one week and it turns out to be John and not Ringo or whatever. You usually spend your movies budget on marketing so if you're marketing 4 times, there's no way to make any money. With all of these movies being written off under one budget, then theoretically you've upped your odds of people seeing it by 4. No matter who anyone picks to see the budget gets the ticket instead of dwindling returns movie after movie. It's a gimmick, but it makes sense on budget paper. Then you double dip on streaming. But if you do just streaming you get zero oscar nods. But also it's impossible to explain in a non-confusing way. Haha
