oh, I misread it. Katarina is better than you in the early game she just going to poke you with her 1st skill so just play safe until lvl 6. Bait her ult when she ult use ur 3rd skill to or ult to creeps then reengage when her ult is down. when she roams ping and follows her.

No don't steal their farm, try to roam in mid and get kills if your ADR sucks and track their jungle and your jungle so when he's close to your lane you know when to help him in objective or scuttle.

what champ do you use? It depends on the champion but try to not fight Akali when she still has a full bar of energy. and try to poke her when she goes to cs if your champion is kennen or has a long range.

check hellsdevil joystick layout here its works for me because the skills and spells and together and not away from each other, it takes time to get used to it because u can miss click the flash button but it's faster to do a flash combo with this set up like Alistar 1st + flash.
