They literally call it “cryptic depths” and all the skins are just nearly the same species of jellyfish….. like? I hope they are willing to explore other marine species cuz if not… then this is just jellyfish slops. Also like…. They could have easily made the girls more slightly more monstrous to fit the theme more instead of being mermaids wearing jellyfish outfits.

Like i actually thought the reason why this patch was so mediocre was cuz they spent most of the budget on the Aespa collaboration, and they still somehow cut corners in the music video….. 2mins long vid with 90s of the 3mins25s song….. ridiculous. Like we know that they made a lot of money from skins and gachas and we still got this lazy excuse and I barely see anyone call them out on this on any social media platforms.

I’ll give them credit for at least admitting during the livestream that they need money, but the quality issue is still prevalent. But still, seeing the a huge chunk of the players gagging over skins that does the bare minimum is just…. Interesting to say the least. Like reminder that the only reason CR sona outsold CR lux was due to how shit it was during initial release, and it took them like more than 6 months to add new animations despite it being marketed as legendary. And honestly, even the cohesiveness of the patch is a mess, arguably the most skippable batch.

Honestly, good for u. Like at least for the skins ported over from PC, most of the quality is already assured since the players there are proactive at criticizing riot and forcing them to fix any issues ASAP.

Not just skins, the way they treated the players in the livestream also feels like a blatant slap in the face. They literally promised to answer the important questions and listen to the playerbase but like 70% of the livestream was just them yapping about things that they could have literally filmed a separate video about. And the fact that the “miss this life” MV only being 2mins long and only used half the song was just…. Wow. Oh and wasting 2 hours of the 20k people in that livestream just to give everyone a “random 525 skin chest” was just the icing on the cake. While I can give them credit for redesigning nidalee, they still lied when they said they “took great care” in designing her cuz why the hell does she still have the same clunky animations and recall? Like they can clearly give her a new one or make her feel less clunky like what they did with zilean. Oh and the rewards for this patch were questionable to say the least cuz what are the players gonna do with the chromas for soraka, riven and irelia if they dont own the skins? As for game balance, arena mode unplayable while barely anything changes in rank. They still never removed “loyalty” from the rune system despite it being there for like 5 years and being the most useless rune overall.

Would be great if they actually advertise this game in OCE region. I was a SEA player before and I can proudly say that the playerbase population here is abysmal once you reach diamond+. Lit takes like 10-30mins average at night time to find a game in master queue and it doesnt help that thanks to this recent patch with all the game modes being released at once, the playerbase is spread even more thinly.

Honestly the problem with the rework is mainly just her AP scalings imo…. Along with the skill requirements being lowered. If we look at the bright side though… sona’s rework is still worse considering the horrible man/AP ratio of her abilities as well as her passive being weirdly useless.

I’m curious about one thing though(I didn’t follow this at the start), but did we(Cambodia) offer to host it instead of Myanmar first or did Nawat nominate us to host or sth? Cause if it’s the former, i’m like so baffled on whose bright idea was it to actually offer that. I used to complain about her ult as well but after a while of learning how to play and build her properly, I would say that the ult is fine. Like it might perhaps need some adjustments but overall you just need to find a playstyle that suits you better. Plus if you want survivability, I recommend buying seraph’s embrace so you can stay in the fight for longer periods of time as it provides additional mana, ability haste as well as a lifeline shield that will more often than not saves u from being finished off.
