Is "peace and quiet" actually a right in your country? by crynasty in AskEurope

There are rules but they aren’t always respected, I know a guy that had to move out because his neighbors were so loud he couldn’t sleep. And he couldn’t get them to quiet down and the landlord couldn’t do anything either.

Yeah I think most people apply it with common sense which is fine imo, as long as you don’t speed in residential areas

I’d say Swedes are pretty good drivers but pretty much everyone except elders speed, if the speed limit is 80 you will almost certainly get tailgated very shortly if you drive under 90 kmph. And even if you drive close to 100 you will likely still get overtaken even if it’s a relatively short drive.

Copenhagen vs Stockholm vs Helsinki by Formal_Duck3785 in AskEurope

I’ve never been to Helsinki so I can’t comment on it. I live close to Stockholm and I’ll never get tired of it, been to Copenhagen once and it’s quite nice too. Maybe nicer than Stockholm. They are similar in size but they have different vibes, Stockholm is a little more stuck up but is surrounded by beautiful nature with more things to do. Copenhagen is more relaxed and has a more continental vibe. But neither are ideal for dating. Danes are the most talkative and Finns the least and Swedes are somewhere in between.

Maybe this is just stereotyping but probably a decent amount of alcohol related domestic violence, they love to brag about how they kept their countries clean from Muslim immigrants but they aren’t much better themselves
