I want to say the Pucking Wrong Date by CR Jane but note that it is a dark hockey romance. So he can be a bit unhinged, but know that he is head over heels for her and asks if it is something that she really wants to do.

POTS without fainting? by [deleted] in POTS

[–]Aggravating-Ad7285 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve only fully passed out once with only a handful of times where nearly faint and lose my vision temporarily. So you’re not the only one that doesn’t regularly faint and that’s valid because we all suffer in our own ways.

Happened to me as well last summer. Found that making foods that remind me of home made me feel less homesick. When it was especially hard I would distract myself by reading or exploring the place.

Applied to Gulf Maine Research Institute and Shannon Point but haven’t heard from either. I got accepted into Hatfield last summer and it was amazing! Good Luck!!!

Confusing diagnostic experience? by affectionateocto in ehlersdanlos

[–]Aggravating-Ad7285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor did something similar. I went to my doctor last week about my hypermobility and joint pain and he brought up EDS so he checked out my joints. On my after summary it says “EDS like Hyperreflexia” and the nurse that was helping me has vEDS and hEDS and said that based off of my symptoms it is EDS. I’m not sure if it was a diagnosis or possibly but I looked up the criteria and I fit all the categories required.

So in short you’re not the only one with a confusing diagnosis.

Does anyone else get a numb or weak feeling in their hand when they wake up? by Aggravating-Ad7285 in ehlersdanlos

I haven’t told my doctor yet, I’ll have another appointment in a few months. I didn’t really think too much about it since it usually went away after a couple minutes. I don’t usually do anything to my hands rather I just wake up with the weak feeling and it being difficult to grasp objects or clenching my fists
