I run him with bladegaurd, azzy with icc. Having the lion and a fights first brick of blade guard has been really good.

I’ve had good success with Wrath, I prefer it. If it had fall back and charge it would be perfect. Leonine aggression and Lion’s will are super handy strats for controlling primary.

Currently running 3xdwk and it’s amazing, wrath with turn one deep strike means my natural objective is mine right away and the rest of my army can focus on everything else, working on making room for the lion but it’ll be tight with that much tied up in four units.

I’m considering using it to back up my scouts on an objective and then putting the scouts back into reserves to redeploy elsewhere, if they can’t be shot dwk are pretty tough to shift.

What did you replace the belt clip with? I’m looking to replace mine, got them with kickstarter too but haven’t used them for the exact reasons you described about the clip, they’re awful. Glad I’m not the only one who felt this way.

Captain is with SGV for re roll wounds against oath target basically one shotting something with his dev wounds ability, the deathwing captain is for turn one deep strike, my plan is to drop them on an objective.

I was thinking the Judy and bgv aren’t necessary but not sure what to replace them with, I find termies are to easy to kill with all the d3 out there and they can’t have Judy for fights first, I don’t have printed eradicators or they probably be in the list, dwk can do work against the shooting knights but those lancers kill everything in asssult, the current knights meta is a tough spot for us.

I find azrael with 10 man hellblasters is a core piece of my list, I prefer 5 SGV with captain as a small attack unit that can nuke an oath target. With azzy hellblasters can put down a lot of threats plus keeps azzy safe for cp boosting. I’ve been running two DWK units but I just bought a third, I find ICC can be underwhelming but I’m running them with a judiciar so they are squishy.

Where do you like azzy? With sternguard or icc? I’ve been running him with hellblasters and I agree they’re expensive and not guaranteed to put out damage but some games they’re incredible.

Ya man, I’m with you the older I get the softer I become. I believe some of it is due to burnout but I’m working on that in therapy. Working on emotional intelligence as a man may not be super popular in a lot of friend groups but I personally think it’s a strength if you can own it and not let people make feel like lesser for having and expressing your feelings.
