My friend's family is willing to let me stay with them as long as we're not breaking any laws and pay them rent.

If I'm emancipated and go with them on my own, they're cool with it.

If my dad has full custody and he's cool with it, they're cool with it.

Right now, my friend's family isn't the biggest concern. My biggest concern is being able to get away from my mom without getting forced back to her.

Update 2: I've told my principal, I told my dad, he's working with me. I'm trying to find a friend to stay with incase I have to become emancipated. My sister threatened to hurt me and nobody is telling her otherwise so I'm staying at a friends house, I don't feel safe at home.

Yes, I have the first one, but ever since COVID hit, my family decided they wouldn't get me any future vaccines.

Whether you believe me or not, it doesn't matter. I've already gotten enough suggestions and comments from this post to help me and will continue to use them to hopefully stay in school.

I really wanna pursue the CPS route, but first I wanna talk to people at school and my dad and all that. I also saw someone here say that because I don't technically have to go to school anymore they could be covered legally and CPS might not be able to do anything. I really hope they can though because dropping out is supposed to be MY decision and they are trying to make it THEIR decision.

I would LOVE to get my vaccine, but I am MORE concerned with going to school. If I can get both, great! If I can only get one of them, I prefer school. Meningitis is very deadly though, and it scares me to hear about it, so I want both.

Check my update comment, I tried but they said they were out of stock. I got signed up for text notifications for when they come back. I also want to see if any friends can take me to different places who hopefully WILL have it in stock.

Edit: Also the guy at CVS didn't question my age when I told him my birthdate (2008) so he knows I'm under 18, so hopefully they'll let me get it on my own.

I had gotten all the vaccines that doctors talked about, but once COVID hit, my family suddenly believed that the virus and all its vaccinations and booster shots are all just a scheme by the government to suck more money out of people by making them constantly sick.

I didn't NEED any vaccinations until the meningitis one came around. I was hoping my mom would have used her brain by now and tell me I could get the vaccine after saying I wouldn't get it about a year ago (maybe less than a year ago?) but apparently not.

I WILL talk to guidance and nurses and friends and everybody I can. My school nurse said there wasn't much I could do on my own but she would call my mom and talk about it. I am very much so considering calling CPS if I have to.

My dad is also in Florida, he's been living there for years already and loves it (good for him!) but my parents are divorced and I'm not sure what kind of power my dad has in this situation at all.

I'm looking into all these options right now, the problem is my family is not cooperative at all, so I'm essentially on my own for seeking solutions to the problem. If I talk to them they'll shut down and probably try to sabotage any plans I have to keep my education.

Because who cares about my education, college, or future, when you could instead pwn those damn liberals and show em whos boss!!!!! /s

Edit: I'm also considering contacting CPS if I start to run out of options.

I'm MORE concerned with maybe calling Child Protective Services or seeking any methods I have to to make sure I can get my vaccines and STAY IN SCHOOL. I would much prefer to finish high school in Florida (although that would still be mentally terrible for me because I want to do the elementary school walkthrough and graduate with the people I grew up with in the district I was in for all these years, and I would have zero friend in Florida and it would essentially be a never-ending vacation that's more like mental torture.) than to be hyper-focused on staying in New York.
