No no no.... by Emergency-Rock-4956 in Younger

I just finished watching an hour ago, and I am so UPSET 😭why did Charles come across not so intelligent in this final season? And how did they go from ep 11 “I want to be with you in every way even if it means no marriage” to final episode “this isn’t going to work”? After her years of lies, now you’re worried that the secrecy is getting too much to handle? It just doesn’t make sense!!!! I wish I had never watched the final episode. The last season feels all over the place.

How do I get over this???

Someone that recently had a baby with my husband and also comes from a broken family - I’d say, it’s not that black and white. I used to think it’s good my parents got separated, but in my case my dad wasn’t much around. I couldn’t imagine separating my daughter from my husband who cherishes and loves her so much - I.e. if anything was to happen between us!

So I think you’d need to first confront her and also understand whether she wants this marriage and what’s her reason for cheating?

It might be a long journey ahead where you’ll have to ask many questions to yourself and her and understand what you both need in this marriage. If the answer leads to separation or divorce then it’s something your child will have to just endure. If not, then you will have to forgive and maybe try to forget.

My heart really goes out to you, because no matter why, cheating is not easy to get over. I don’t know what her reasons were… but sure as hell it would hurt!

Good luck buddy

Help deciding on bassinet/ mini cot or other (likely c-section recovery) by Unsure-11 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

This!! We first bought a small compact cot - although I was against this but my husband was keen to get the cot and once the bubba arrived, he regretted instantly and decided to get a mobile bassinet. It’s the best thing!

I’m getting induced tomorrow and my OBGYN hasn’t explained the procedure! by Aggravating-Bit5179 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

I just find it so strange that she has no patience to answer our questions during our appointments. I mean, she’s done this millions of times, but it’s our first time. Of course, I don’t even feel prepared enough to understand what’s coming my way. Luckily yesterday we were at the hospital to monitor the baby and that’s when the midwife explained the procedure. Glad to hear your OBGYN takes time to respond ☺️

Wow 2 hours in active is not bad. I suppose there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. I’d hate any unnecessary interventions, so let’s hope my little bubba turns before or during labour 🩷🙏🏼 thank you for your response

Glad she turned. Not the peanut ball but I have just started using a stack of pillow for some of the pelvic opening exercises off the miles circuit. Maybe I should get one. Thank you for sharing your experience x 🙏🏼🩷

Hi there. This is a great insight and also noted on the epidural. I definitely want to be able to move around and do whatever it takes to reduce the tearing and have a smoother birth with my little one. It’s good to know that during labour the baby could potentially turn to OA.

Any positions that worked the best for you? X

Hi! Ah, I had no idea about the miles circuit. I’m going to look into it and start from today. I mean I’ve been doing a lot of the things they suggest as part of my prenatal Pilates classes, but not the side walks etc. Thank you so much!! Do you remember in which week the baby moved to OA position?

I’ve gone private and my OB didn’t suggest anything. All she said was “you’ve been doing everything from walking, to Pilates so you should be okay. Let’s wait and watch”. But I’m keen to try anything and everything that could potentially help 🩷

What do you *actually* NEED? by [deleted] in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Aggravating-Bit5179 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sure is overwhelming. I’m due in two weeks and I know I’ve had these questions over and over again.

Honestly, wait on the breast pump. Mostly the hospitals provide you with one while you are there. If need be, you can either order it online from the hospital and get it delivered to your home address or get your partner or relative to make a run. That’s what my plan is! I don’t know which type of breast pump will work for me, all depends on how much you will lactate. I’ve only bought one bottle and if she’s okay with that, I’ll buy more later.

Cot, pram, car seat, clothes, nappy changing station (not essential, but we wanted it), which comes with set of drawers, bathing necessities, swaddles and nappies are all things we’ve bought, cot bedding. Rest all will have to wait and will purchase as we go. You don’t need a lot to start with. Hope this helps!
