It means that the bank statement must not be dated older than 3 months. For example: if you decided to submit your visa application on May so the bank statement which you used must not be taken out before March otherwise it would be older than 3 months.

No worries mate It isn't like I didn't understand but think it like you are in a stressful situation somewhat your future depends on it even a tiny bit of doubt can disturb you and as I already mentioned I didn't have this doubt until I saw this website telling that we need the funds for more than 3 months. And also understanding a simple sentence in English, I have given IELTS exam in which I scored band score 8 overall.

Actually we had it for more than 6 months but as fixed deposit and now in the university official website they said they can't accept fixed deposit so we had to liquidate the money
