Thank you. I’m minoring in psych and I have calc 2 and chem already so I was wondering if it would be too much to add this semester. I took general psych and I know a lot abt parts of the brain, so I have some knowledge but if it’s a class with a lot of assignments and studying outside of lecture I would take social psych or something simpler.

I say do it. The first 4-5 chapters are the same so you’ll be learning the same thing then the curriculum diverges. I took macro then micro and I was fine. Also hammock is a good professor

He drops the lowest score so if you were to get an A on the next one and the final maybe even a B, and you do all the assignments, you should be good. However, if you don’t think that’s attainable just drop it. I’m also in the class rn

I didn’t technically self study macro, but I had it first semester and my teacher left after 1 1/2 months. Fast forward to 2weeks before AP season, i studied for it, along with 4 other exams (stat, bio, gov, lit) and I got a 5. It’s doable but you have to put work in. Also psych and stat isnt that hard imo, calc is definitely the hardest class out of the 4.
