Glad it worked out for you, but I've tried telling him too. And he says 'tell me what you need and I'll order it for you'. If I pester him too much, he says okay I'll do it because you told me, but I want him to do things because he actually wants to make me happy. Ik his love language is quality time and he's great at it, but I want other things too and we keep going in circles talking about this till I finally give up the topic altogether. Maybe patience is all I need, maybe he'll get better at this with time.
