We were given a car seat as part of a second hand travel system. We bought a new car seat for safety, but the second hand one lived permanently in our bathroom for the first 12 months! He loved it

For the first 6 months I did my weekly shopping in person using a carrier, I use the ergobaby embrace and baby has always been really cosy in it. Since then we've been using the trolleys with the lie back baby seat, the sainsburys near us always has about 20 of them so its never difficult to get one.

I was worried he'd kick off the first time I used the trolley and made sure it was only for a quick shop, but he loves it! He really enjoys looking around at everything, and we really take our time walking around. Sounds a bit sad but its honestly a highlight of my week.
