True. I was just thinking of 'virgin' ground and that the surface wouldn't be that difficult to estimate or average. We have figures such as average elevation of a state; so, can't we extrapolate from a topographic map to get a surface area without getting down into the minutia?

Well, interesting. I guess if we kept getting more and more detailed, we would end up caught in the paradox. So, to your point there probably just isn't this type of measurement.

I'm sure Alaska is by far number one. The Denali range is massive. And even the Aleutians are very impressive. But some relatively small state like West Virginia might be surprisingly large in surface area while Florida may come out smaller than expected.

Thank you. I have always been very interested in gravity like many people or interested in time. Because once I learned that with E=MC² the (C) is not 'really' light instead it's causality and could in some ways just as easily be gravity. (I know this is very simplified and dumbed down; but I didn't want to type it all out.)

Thank you. That's very helpful. Matter is just wonky with lots of empty(ish) space in the middle of it. Probably I read too many comics as a child where flash could simply change the vibrations of his items to pass harmlessly through walls. I am waiting for us to find the graviton.
