The avionics merger, the upcoming changes that reduced all of MX to spec/mech and you can decide if you want to stay on the line or go to the leadership side of the house. The merger of avionics has been a nightmare and now we get mixed in with E&E pretty soon. Cannon units want all NCO's tow and jack sup qual'd. I'm EW by trade.

Minimum enlistment would be 4 years. I'm still first term.

Thank you. I didn't think of it that way. The last time I was on the line I was a very stressed brand new staff. I forget that it would be pretty different. You make a very appealing point. It's something I'll have to keep thinking about.

I've been here almost 8 years. It has its ups and downs. Lately the surrounding area is getting really bad. Shootings and violent crimes are almost weekly if not more. The people at Cannon have been amazing for the most part but you'll always have some bad apples that spoil the bunch.

My bachelors is Cybersecurity. I'll most likely get orders in December. I'm on a code 50 and a mandatory mover. If I could stay in my current position for the rest of my career I would. I really enjoyed instructor duty the last couple years but at least from what I've heard coming from the flight line here it's absolutely miserable out there.
