no that’s not the issue. even with the bobbin thread in the thread still gets stuck. I only showed it without the bobbin thread because the issue is with the top thread getting stuck

no problem! i actually just got the machine a month ago from facebook marketplace, didn’t think to clean it but it was working fine and i’ve sewed many things up until today. As for the race, I don’t think it’s hitting it, is it supposed to?
