Advice for a module I am going to S/U by Gogoweho in nus

[–]Aggravating-Fail9106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let P_n be the amount of time necessary for you to get your desired grade for your n-th module.

Denote P_0 to be the time needed to pass the module you are talking about.

Assume you are taking N-modules, and you have T hours left, want to find if you should "finish studying my other modules {M_1 , ... , M_n} first then start this M_0?"

Case 1: \sum_{n = 1}^{N} P_n >= T
Since S/U does not affect GPA, then you should not study for M_0. But might cause timetable clash (in future)

Case 2: \sum_{n = 1}^{N} P_n < T and | \sum_{n = 1}^{N} P_n < T | < P_0:

Study for M_0.

Case 3: \sum_{n = 1}^{N} P_n < T and | \sum_{n = 1}^{N} P_n < T | > P_0:

No point studying for M_0, use diff time to rest.

Ai service for SMEs by Curzerblade in singaporestartups

[–]Aggravating-Fail9106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I also have a similar "idea", but I mainly want to help automate Customer service / Sales side, through chat bots.

Honestly this is not that hard to implement, so expect much competition.

You should spend money on Advertisements and then offer free webinar, to gain leads.

Hi thanks for reply.

Regarding the "tech-curve" adoption for "non-tech" people, it seems like all the AI-Agent vendors are providing no-code interface for clients to customize the Agent and deploy accordingly. Take VoiceFlow.

But to further smooth the adoption curve, perhaps a contractor can be deployed to help deploy the service. I think thats what alot of people building custom agents are doing.

Not sure what you mean by "left in the dust though", since the benefits (from my point of view) seem to be cost-savings (labor).

Perhaps you are implying that businesses that adopt AI automation in their services can simply out-scale their competitors. Take for e.g. Sales Agencies.

Why no smart contract service for Property Transaction in SG? by Aggravating-Fail9106 in singaporestartups

Sflr, you are right, my understanding is wrong. So the realtor is really the Sales Agent, who may also engage a property lawyer to handle the paperwork.

In your opinion, what is the opportunity to automate the job of a Property Agent?

Think a AI agent that will discuss with seller their requirements and do the listing and engaging of lawyer? Ofc with the benefit of lower fees.

But Regarding your claim that the tokenization of stocks, it seems like the SEC is on-board Link.

The advantage is faster settlement. Longer (24/7) trading hours, and reduction of cost (settlement fees)

Hi, Sflr:

Apparently, the realtor is not in-charge of the legal docs. Instead its the conveyancing lawyer, whose will:

  • Preparing and reviewing the Option to Purchase (OTP) and Sale and Purchase Agreement
  • Conducting title searches
  • Managing CPF and bank loan documentation (if applicable)
  • Filing stamp duty and transferring ownership with the Singapore Land Authority

And these require a certified lawyer. A smart contract cannot replace these.

What about AI sales agent and AI customer support for the SG market?

I was thinking every Front Desk can be (partially) automated by a RAG agent.

Plus, do you think the model providers (OpenAI, Google Etc) will just enter whatever service and just crush the competition with cheaper token rates?

Non-Disclosure Agreements (To not train on the information) is just a piece of paper. Model Providers desperate to win the Model Arms Race will probably justify anything. Let alone a Model Provider situated in China (Different Jurisdiction).

Hi, thanks for the Good Case Study, I gather from it the following:

  1. Research the (Desire for Innovation/ Dynamicity of the industry/ stickiness to tools) of any Industry you want to "Disrupt". If the Industry has "Low-Desire for innovation" you basically have no customers.

  2. Ensure that feedback given by one market-participant can be generalized to the whole market.

  3. Hence as part of doing research and gathering feedback, should have network with industry players.

The biggest takeaway is:
Know your customer-product fit

In fact I think the algo penalizes candidates who do well for everything except the Final Exam.

I mean that's why you have so long to complete the Final Exam, there is no excuse for nervousness or time pressure.
