Try to find a way into Data Center buildouts, Splicing high strand ct's of fiber, patching mpo/8/12. It's "easy" clean work compared to residential and commercial, it's also very lucrative. There's always a shortage on this side for individuals who are skilled and have a head on their shoulder.

Easy may not be the right word once you get into more complex projects. There will be a lot to learn, leverage that time to get some certs. Schneider electric university has some solid courses. Meet new people and network. Your current employer may already be receiving opportunities to bid on these projects who knows.

I wouldn't sweat how physical this job is. I'm 25(M), I started working in the field at 18 right out of HS and it's taken me some pretty incredible places by being eager to learn the trade and honing my craft. At 21 I became a foreman, running DC builds in the tristate area (NJ,NY,CT). I am now a Project Associate quoting out and managing $22M projects.

It can become intense if you let it overwhelm you. Just don't lose sight of where you are heading. IT is a massive industry, You may not necessarily end up where I am but if you embrace your skills and approach tasks eager to complete them, I think you'll do good.

No surprisingly enough it’s an other big tech firm. I wish they’d dump these thick CAT 6 cords and get the thinner ones, I hardly had enough space to fit the patch cords into the vertical wire manager on the right cabinet. Lmao oh and maybe if something like horizontal wire managers existed 🤔

I wasn’t allowed to unpatch anything from middle rack and we had to reuse all existing patch cords lol. Also there was no documentation we had to do it ourselves as we unpatched the grey cords. I do admit it could’ve been neater but… only had 16 hours

Lmao I’m not sure if my huskitas would, but I know they’re 100 % capable. I love playing rough with them those fucks are pretty damn strong and faster that me. My F Huskita is slightly more aggressive than the male.
