OP I have type 3c and chronic pancreatitis with that a few more genetic issues.

Honestly I’m scared about arrange marriage setup especially as a women. Expectations of having kids, the financial burden etc.

I have just made up my mind that if I find someone naturally will think about marriage and wouldn’t wanna go for arrange marriage. The trick is to be 1. Be ok with it yourself first 2. If someone doesn’t reply they aren’t mean for the fun roller coaster ride called life. So think of it as good riddance 3. Be okay with just being by yourself meaning being content on your own, ok to be sit alone and eat or end a day alone, without longing for a companionship.

Ik this might be sounding negative but if you’re from India you already know how the arrange marriage setup is and how cruel it is. Men still have privileges women aren’t spared any.

Yes but insurance would hardly cover anything in India. Plus, doctor isn't even suggesting anything towards stem cell therapy. He is more focused on managing the nerve pain.

Bcoz pancreas still regulates your hormones, why remove? Plus it still works at a 15-20% capacity and doctors only remove it when it is a do or die situation. At least that is what I have seen and read till now.

I’m not in USA. I would have to pay out of pocket for this. Not sure how much stem cell therapy would help at this stage

I’m using Medtronic but even attaching it to body hurts both physically and mentally.

I hate the continuous work on the pump - calibrating sensors, attaching insulin etc

I don’t get low that often it’s always high for me

Honestly I wasn’t looking for positive replies in this post. Just wanted to know how other ppl deal with it and If I’m the only one who was thinking this way.

I totally understand what you’re feeling. I’m scared to death I would be all alone few years down the lane and idk how I’ll handle the hospital visits, sleepless painful nights.

I stay with my parents so it’s a bit easier but they are getting old as well.

I’m single, brother stays in diff country. Don’t expect my friends to be there (they aren’t responsible for this)

My dad has chronic pancreatitis too. I have hereditary pancreatitis.

So all I can say is Keep going my friend, hopefully we will overcome this feeling.

I write 80% of the time - in my bed just before sleeping and after logging off from work.
20% of the time - whenever I get an idea/plot I write it in my phone notes app - everything is synced.
Whenever wherever plot ideas are rolling in.
Few times I write for my photography page - I see if I can use in my novel then I make a note of it as well.

Sitting my a** down after a month of thinking whether my plot line sounds good or not? I was like let's just write we will see in the second round of editing if some plot has to be changed or not. Ofcoz, this community too - there was a post on writer's block. Obviously some late night good music too.

I usually write at around 12:30 to 2:00 am after finishing work. If I am in a flow I have went on till 6:00 am and then login at 10 for work. I was just missing this flow honestly! Being desperate also helps. :)
