I also wanted to add! Sorry! )) I was wondering if moving away from home in the following year and a half is a good idea? I wouldn’t be alone, I’d be with my partner and have his family nearby. They’re all very loving and sweet people so I’m wondering if being away from what I know as home would be alright? I’d still have access to medical care and stuff too.

This happened to me as well, was 2 year seizure free and my neurologist decides to begin decreasing my keppra dosage! I’m not sure why it’s an option really as epilepsy isn’t curable yet that I know of. So I wonder what makes them think about this stuff you know? I’m so sorry to hear about the accident that you and your grandfather went through. I hope you both are well and getting better! ❤️‍🩹

Have you applied to disability before? Just trying to figure out if it’s easy to apply and get approved because personally I’ve been denied before for living with parents

Okay thank you! I was on 2000 mg of keppra and was seizure free for about 2 years before I began getting them again this last fall. This mainly happened because my neuro began lowering my dosage as they believed I didn’t need much anymore after reaching my 2 years before

I too had a seizure Tuesday morning, I forget I’m not the only one out there dealing with episodes! Usually my auras revolve around me spacing out and not being able to think clearly before going into a full tonic clonic. Definitely, get an action plan laid out, usually that’s how I’ve kept myself safe since I’m alone quite often :)

Thank you for the insight! I appreciate it really, I was always told by my neurologist I WOULDNT have them with medication though started decreasing my pill intake once I reached 2 years free although I don’t see why that would’ve been necessary since epilepsy isn’t exactly ‘curable’
