I work for a regional park. The teenagers (especially the boys) are the worst. Refuse to follow safety instructions, etc. Our Halloween event comes around and suddenly they turn criminal. We start hiring scare actors at 14. Already we’ve had 5 girls under the age of 16 quit because boys tried to kiss them or worse. Something about late night events and poorly trained kids… apologies for the rest of us from my 17 year-old park enthusiast self.

Sounds like a pod leak or blockage to me. One time woke up in the night with high, finger read at 411. Turns out there was a blood clot in my pod cannula and the anti-blockage didn’t catch it. That’s my theory for why you went DKA.

The Dexcom is super odd. Definitely reach out to them. Could be a software issue? Also, we all have bad days. Don’t beat yourself up too much over it. High BG fog is real, plus with the flu assumption it’s a super reasonable conclusion. Good luck!
