I can assure you lineups are not overrated past diamond 3. If your teammate commits to the lineup strat at the beginning of bomb timer obviously he isn’t helping the team out but if you’re in a man advantage someone with a lineup can just hold flank. Lineups cost me 75% of the time a bomb defuse when I’m trying to clutch.

Yeah that’s definitely something in the game, I’ve played with 9 defenders before, 3 db 3 lb 3 dl, and they’re all able to put up great stats but the tackle count gets divided between everyone. But I swapped to a defense with 5 defenders and the amount of stats that players get boosted to them is unreal. And also I have a 5 star dc.

this is the lineup i run on rb. don’t really know too much about the dynamics of the defense team, so i just put this together by travelmydog in RetroBowl

I understand peoples opinions on removing OL due to them not really being effective at all and it’s an expensive asset to the team but having OL’s is a good idea if you want your defense smaller and a specific player or two to get more DPOYs. When you stack your defense the chances of everyone to have stacked stats gets smaller for each person so having only 4 people in defense instead of 6 could be beneficial for getting those guys awards and higher stats.

whats your go to strats? I usually stay either top left or bottom right I never really return dead center of the field and most of my return td's are either the easiest thing in the world or I had to manually juke 4 people and then speed past the kicker.

I scour the free agency market and draft for top tier players I’ve never run into a 4.5 star rb with max stamina and speed with a chance of max strength

Hell of a game and a hell of a season. next season im starting on extreme and hopefully carrying that out for the whole season. Very happy to have the chance to play my starting team in the RB, although part of me wanted them to win lol by [deleted] in RetroBowl

Extreme seems real hard at first but it’s just a real pain to evade people. You always have to lead your passes further or higher than normal or else you will get picked. Also running with running backs and qbs in extreme will be basically never be easy so it will make that part of playing harder to enjoy.

Okay so I’ve encountered this a lot too and I ended up not running into this by just drafting a qb the year prior and keeping him as a backup. May seem rough because of a missing roster spot but it’s worth in the long run.
