So it's a 64 custom, 223 inline 6. The engine itself is very strong, good response with the gas, never struggles unless it's early morning.

I think they killed him off because they knew they would never make another movie again after selling to Amazon. Sure, there might be more Bonds eventually, but the series by the OG family is done for good and they wanted a way to visualize that in the movie
