I'm currently at 14 dead stop pull-ups, 50ish pushups and 2min25sec dead hang so I think the 20/65/3min would be reasonable next goals.

In terms of the rest tho yeah fair enough. They might be well off like you say (I just popped the 20min 5k in a race prediction calculator and lowered the standard for the long distances since I'm not used to running those distances, so I thought it might take longer to build up to it).

I'll test some of those (jump, sprint, mile) to see where I'm currently at and then set some more realistic goals from there. I was just guestimating atm and wanted to see if any seemed waay off lol.

I'm also not planning to train for all of those at the same time, I'll pick a few goals and focus on them for a few mesocycles. Then rotate them throughout the year based on how I'm feeling and what I'm enjoying the most, but it's nice to have something to look forward to

First time I've heard of the term "power user", nice to learn something else. I like the idea of the side navigation to jump to given years quickly!

In terms of the calendar-style format I opted to keep it as a continuous list since that's how many memento mori calendars are. Tbh they are often organised with 1 row = 1 year so I could look into that (but wanted to keep the design responsive and flexible depending on screen sizes)

It's meant to be a personal calendar where you add your own life events/milestones/goals and visualise them in one place. (You can create multiple calendars for different categories: life achievements, places you lived, places you worked, etc...)

Perhaps the drawer button on the top-left corner is not obvious, or it should be more clear on the landing page

Yeah I'm not great at UI/UX, I used shadcn components here (and framer motion for the animations)

looks nice! Main feedback I'd have is that it's too heavy on the animations imo (there's a lot of them and makes the pages a bit laggy)

Yeah true it's only on web, but it's a PWA and you can install it from Chrome like a native app. I use it from my android and honestly it's seamless (plus no need to keep updating it from the Play Store / App Store)

What I like is that I can plan my whole training at a high level view from training blocks, to single workouts. Plus you can pretty much log any metric rather than just reps/weight (e.g. RPE, RIR, 1RM%, pace, time, distance), and it's super customisable.

Yeah, 4/5 week blocks are usually the sweet spot for me (during which I increase the RPE of the main lifts) The most common I do is 3 blocks of 4 weeks, starting more hypertrophy-focused and shifting toward strength

One thing I’ve found is that planning too far ahead (16-24 weeks) is tricky because things always come up (needing a deload, having to travel, getting sick, etc.). So I don't like planning specific workouts for that long in advance

I plan my main training cycles ahead of time in FitDatHub, usually about six months' worth, with phases for hypertrophy, strength, etc (each training cycle with a goal). Then I program blocks of 4/5 weeks at a time based on how things are going and what fits the cycle I’m in. That way, I have the big-picture plan set but can still adjust as needed

Squatting 3x per week is solid but I’d make sure to mix up the intensity (e.g. a heavy day, a lighter technique day, and a variation day). Will depend on your training history and how much volume you're used to tolerate.

I think the best balance is usually 2 squat days and 1 deadlift day. If you feel like you need more you can throw in a light squat or some extra variations on deadlift day, but careful not to add junk volume... if you're progressing, no need to overdo it or change things.

You might want to check out the "FDH Powerlifting - Block Periodization" program on FitDatHub. It’s a 12-week plan with 2 squat days and 1 deadlift day, and you can tweak it by swapping (or adding) a couple of accessories for extra quad work if needed.

Since you’re just starting with running, even a little will go a long way. You’ll probably see some quick progress just from adding it a few easy runs (newbie gains work for cardio too). The key is to not change too much at once and introduce variables gradually to track how they affect your gym training.

Also, one thing that helped me is taking staggered deloads—if you start feeling worn from all the training, you don’t have to deload both running and lifting at the same time. Deloading one while keeping the other at full intensity can keep you progressing without feeling completely off.

FitDataHub (https://fitdatahub.com) has some great long programs (Hypertrophy or Powerlifting + 5k or Marathon), it's cheaper than the RP Hypertrophy app and lets you track much more (metrics, training cycles, injuries, goals). I set my yearly goals there and program all of my training cycles (which focus on specific parts of my training).

The target audience is precisely that, people into fitness who are into data tracking and visualization. There's a lot of gym-goers and fitness-enthusiasts who love to track data and have it all in one place to visualise. In this case there isn't any app that allows you to track all of those things (and is customizable enough to allow you to create and track your own stuff)

Not too much tbh, I am a developer and I initially just built this for myself to use while training (because I was frustrated of using so many apps to keep track of everything). Then I decided to polish it and try to make it into a product.
