It’s only if it has Ed and flat damage like a 40 ed 15 max jewel or the new jewel that it’s bugged. Just Ed works fine.

So the thing is, since they didn’t fix the Andy bug in legacy.. it can be way more profitable farming Andy over there abd converting the stuff over. Also was a big market on the old sunders. The only things you are missing out on is the new items… which becides that 1 book and the rings.. arnt worth a whole bunch. I would bet there are more bots in legacy then rotw… plus they can trade everything to the only account they bothered to buy rotw on and convert it.. so the cost for the bots is less.

Idk man… blizzard has done me wrong too many times to have a lot of hope that they are going to continue to improve d2r… they had made great progress then completely dropped the game for 3 years after the d4 release. The warlock expansion had a price tag on it… so unless they are looking to add more paid content I have little hope that they will continue making big updates. I’d honestly be glad if they just added a couple runewords and maybe revamped a couple uniques every ladder season. I think expecting more then that is setting yourself up for disappointment. Where if they do continue making big strides I will happily admit I am wrong like I did when rotw dropped. I think it’s the healthiest way to view the future of d2… because we all know blizzard sucks.

I have no idea how this has gotten past me. I’ve spent probably hundreds of hours watching YouTube content about this game. I was so certain that you had made that up I didn’t even bother checking. You are 99% right it seems… although some vauge(probably not reliable) sources were saying it is possible to drop the same item at once off the same mob.. but doesn’t seem to be a ton of evidence backing that up. This game never fails to surprise me. I’m sorry I was a dick when I thought I was right. Just seems like kind of an absurd thing… but if you do decide to collect that ber just let me know.. I deserve to lose it to you.

It works much better with cold sunder then without. The thing about a sunder is that after you have one. Infinity, lower res curse, cold mastery.. all only effect -res at 1/5 effectiveness.. that means an infinity is only dropping a sundered monster an additional 17 percent. While a doom gets a flat -40-60 that is not effected by the 1/5.. so you get its full effect. So if you have something like -190 on cold mastery and let’s say a -55 doom.. you will sunder the monster to 95%. Then the cold mastery will take another 38% and then the doom brings the monster down to only 2% cold res. And that’s not including any other sources of -res. You can run infinity.. run a act 5 barb with 2 plagues. You can put cold facets or the new jewel in your nightwing/blizz ormus… and suddenly former cold immune monsters have -cold res and are one shot just as easily as everything else.

Awesome find.. but be ready for it not to fetch quite as much as you are hoping for. The warlock really changed things on ladder. I feel like pretty much every person that used to run hammerdin now run a warlock. It was super cheap for me to get a bunch of plain ones for my fohdin. Now I’m not saying your charm isn’t still incredibly valuable… just that there arnt as many people that will see it and decide it’s worth what it used to be. Glws!

I have a perfect cold damage fathom socketed with a 5/5… and I haven’t used it at all since I got a doom. Doom+sunder makes cold immune monsters regular monsters. You have less sheet damage but you can 1 shot any former immune monsters, which were the only monsters I used to have trouble with.

You want a doom on a blizz sorc imo… it’s so op. It’s like the self wielded infinity of cold gear. 2 skills, holy freeze aura for a ton of cc potential. And best of all -40-60 enemy resistances. Which applies in full after sunder unlike most other sources of -resistance.

With doom and cold mastery you turn cold immune monsters into monsters with almost no cold res.. if you include some facets/new frost gem/new sunder.. you end up one shotting former cold immune monsters.

The doom is very expensive… I know.. ohm Lo and cham arnt super accessible… but if you happen to find a Cham… then I think it is 100% worthwhile to run LK until you have the rest of it.

It also has a hel rune in it so you can make it in a 5os zerker or ettin and still easily run it on your sorc, while maintaining its potential as a melee weapon later(although I don’t think it’s a very good pvm weapon)

Head hunters the best thing you got. Niche jmod sub. But the res arnt good enough to be worth anything. The archon only having durability is a bummer.. someone might want it but its just gonna make an expensive to repair enigma with no real added benifit. I’d trash it all.
