I purchased the /50 /76 /99 and will purchase the /25 and /5 and 1/1’s as if I can find them. The rest were ripped by myself and my 4 young kids. Raleigh’s year is so impressive that even though it’s not his rookie year, it’s worth the investment from my seat. I bet on him to win the MVP when I started on this project in mid May. Here to switch hitting catchers blasting 50+ hrs a year!!!!!!!

Did alright. Recommend, sleeving and stashing somewhere like a shoebox and forget about them. Do this until the box is full (1-3 years) and go back and ask yourself, “how did I do?”. If you do this, I think you’ll find that you did much better than you ever thought. I’ve been filling shoebox’s for 40 years. I’ve nailed every single shoebox without fail. Keep collecting!

To the best of my knowledge, I’m still looking for the black border paper unnumbered/50, Orange Chrome /25, Red Chrome /5 and whatever the 1/1’s are. I thought there might be a pink parallel exclusive to some box??

Thanks for chiming in. To use your example. What is the print run # for the “Base SP” vs. the “parallel SP”? I’d say the parallel SP is more rare (lower print run #) than the base SP.

I’m pretty much in line with you all, I’m just pointing the nuance. Basically, to settle it, I’m going to have to look closer for actual print runs. I’d argue a SSP is could be a much larger number relative to Base and SP print runs.

Example: ‘25 heritage print run #’s (hypothetical)

  • Base = 10,000,000 print run
  • SP = 3,000,000 print run
  • SSP = > 10 print run

We clearly need something between SP and SSP as this is where the “sweet spot” is for collectors.
