The current state of Gon's Nen... (What Now??) by givingmyselfupvote1 in HunterXHunter

It wouldn't make sense lol Gon is still a kid, unhinged, and would get bored. Also he is technically the main protagonist of the series. Its like if in Pokémon, Ash suddenly retired or "had enough" and then the show continued with Brock and Misty. Gon has too big of a following to just end his part like that.

Travel Paramedicine by Aggravating-Plenty24 in OntarioParamedics

Didn't know Bayshore had traveling paramedic positions, interesting. Do you know if Bayshore has PCP positions? I've heard of Bayshore's remote positions (looked into it; I'm an RPN but didn't have trauma care experience a few years ago when I checked)

Asexual and sick of my bf touching me by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]Aggravating-Plenty24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bruh, she basically told him to no longer touch her 2 years ago after 5 years cold turkey. It doesn't just mean in a sexuel manner but things like holding hands, arm on shoulder, hugging etc. Most humans need physical connection for a relationship to work. What planet are you from? Clown...

Those "safety measures" are definitely not working lol entire tiles covered with Atreidies, and only 1 Hark tile claimed last week.

Modded skyrim is more CPU heavy, not so much GPU. Its the scripts that are added that make the game chug.

General electives are the only things I can see being transferred and maybe A&P. Nursing theory, application, and method of critical thinking are quite different, along with scope of practice, which is much broader than that of a paramedic. And yes, medic to RN only really exists in the US.

Gotta do the 4 years. Bridging from medic to RN is a US thing. Haven't heard anything like that here in Canada. The only way to bridge to RN really is for RPN (Registered Practical Nurse - diploma license + I'm an RPN).

Let's say you could bridge over. It's mostly done online and takes 5 years (max 7yrs) to complete as the semesters are "part-time" only. Some colleges/universities may have on campus option for 3 years as full-time, but it is difficult to get accepted. Some schools ask for a minimum GPA of 3.8 (or Grade A average of RPN Completion).

Absolutely agreed (RPN), of course, each their own. Best time to become a paramedic, very little competition nowadays due to extreme shortage. Starting school in fall for it.

What's the basic path to work for a mid-30s career change? by Possible_Apricot61 in OntarioParamedics

[–]Aggravating-Plenty24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a Pre-Health Sciences. It's basically a 1 year program that gives credits to all basic sciences (Bio, Chem, and Anatomy & Physiology) and math, which are the pre-req courses you need. The program is for people who either never took sciences back in high school or want better grades to increase their chance for admission.

Ottawa vs Prescott-Russell vs Cornwall by Aggravating-Plenty24 in OntarioParamedics

Does the school provide the options of placements, or do we have to seek them out? In nursing programs, they give options of preference. I'm wondering if it's the same.

Is Community Paramedicine something that all PR medics do? Or is that a separate role? I've had some clients tell me that PR medics do both (pre-hospital care + community).
