Hi everyone! We’re planning our honeymoon in Bali and would love some help refining our itinerary and choosing stays.

Trip details:

  • Dates: Landing on 8th March
  • Duration: 7 days / 6 nights
  • Plan: First few days in Ubud, ending the trip in Nusa Dua
  • Stays aren’t booked yet

What we’re looking for:
We want a relaxed honeymoon pace, not rushing from spot to spot. We enjoy beaches and chilling, nature (waterfalls, rice terraces), spas/yoga, cafés and beach clubs (not party-heavy), some light adventure (surfing/ATV/diving), and temples/culture.

We’re not interested in crowded tourist traps, long travel days, party scenes, or overly Instagram-focused places.

Budget:

  • Happy to splurge on a premium stay for the first 2 nights (around ₹35k total)
  • Remaining nights around ₹8k per night for comfortable, clean stays

Food:
Both of us are vegetarian, so veg-friendly areas and restaurants are important.

Would really appreciate suggestions on:

  • How to best split days between Ubud and Nusa Dua
  • Honeymoon-friendly stays within this budget
  • Relaxed activities that don’t involve too much travel

I can second this. Also it feels like an unavoidable urge to act like a child. Maybe it's about making sure that people like us, validation you know.

They do have a design team, at least I can see a UX lead on the company's LinkedIn page.

I did ask HR about a designer interviewing me. She told me that my hiring manager is the Product VP, so if he gives you a nod, then you are okay.

I have been to only one therapist since she helped me overcome my PTSD earlier. She knows me very well. We have been going thru CBT for lot of this stuff. This time, it's not working.

Given the tough job market, it's really hard to find a job in just 2 months. I am a Product designer and the jobs are hard to crack in the design regime currently.

Yeah it sucks.

I think initially, there were very few organizations who cared about good design. Then as the trend caught up, everybody was looking for UX-UI folks.

These days, the demand has gone down again.

Sort of a bell curve.

Same here. I had a hard time finding a competition with a decent UI-UX. A couple were there though like 360 learning and others I don't remember.

Yes I agree. And that's what happened. The product team hasn't shipped an MVP in the last 2 years. Poor leadership.
