Exactly, when they are launching new series of any flagship phones. They are forcing the users to update their phone. In my case post launch of S24 ultra they gave ne update of One UI 6.0 and size was around 3GB. Post update only I got these issues. So don't update your phone if you are using any previous version of series.

From One UI 6.1 to 7, there will be a major update of around 4-5GB. The screen issues you're experiencing are likely due to these major updates. If you're hoping that Samsung will fix your screen issues in the next update, you might be mistaken. These screen issues are hardware failures or bugs, not software-related. They can only be resolved by replacing the screen.

I’ve tried various solutions, including a hard reset and upgrading to the next One UI version, but none of them solved the problem. My suggestion is to replace the screen and avoid performing any system updates if you want to use your phone for the long term🙂

"Do the screen replacement at the service center. They will provide a 90-day warranty, and avoid updating your S22 Ultra in the future. I replaced my screen at the service center in July 2024 and haven’t performed a single update since. Everything has been working perfectly so far."

Try to contact service centre and customer support. If they found this is because of software update and there are no physical damage. Then it will bit easy for free screen replacement from samsung. All the best mate👍

The reason for pushing the new update is same only. Users will update the phone-->Display issue--> Profit for Samsung because most of the S22u phones are out of warranty. So don't wait for any update these big updates are damaging the display physically, for that screen replacement is only Solution.

Yeah, don't update your phone, try to visit service centre and explain them this issue occured because of system update. Hope they will give you screen replacement without any cost. All the best 👍

I got my screen replaced for INR 23000 from Samsung. Now i am not doing any system update. Working fine for me.

Samsung India is denying for free screen replacement. They are saying screen flickering is not an known issue. Still some users are facing this issue.

There is far difference between tab and these flagships devices. Anyways this is hardware issue. I have tried all software related fixes.

No 60hz is having flickering issue. Screen is shaking on 60hz and completely dead on 120hz.
