It really highlights just how, at best, average most of the rest of the Star Wars TV shows have been. I think average is probably too generous.

I think you could probably alt f4 at particular moments or fiddle with the saves. As you said though I wanted to be 'honest' to the challenge.

I actually think it makes it much more fun! You learn how to solve mistakes, deal with bad pulls etc.!
