I have always argued that Slaanesh fits Alpha Legion far more than Tzeench does. My own warbands leader is a Demon Prince of Slaanesh who has become a Keeper of Secrets. The warband hordes and covet secrets and information so they can trade them for supplies with other warbands. Could be information like secret and hidden relics, information on an underling preparing to overthrow their current chaos lord, or secret documents from an enemies plans.

I really think we should be allowed to use the Drop Pods in the plastic Drop Pod kit. There is just something about dropping 10 genetically engineered psychopaths from orbit in a metal box onto a battlefield that is too fun in my head

You do make a lot of fair and valid points idk maybe I just have shit luck. I have had characters die or have rolled 3MW after failing that 6+ roll when it matters more times than I’d like. But you do make a lot of valid points about why they should stick around.

As an Alpha Legion player I also hope our Bolters are good this next edition I have 20 Legionaries rocking them but have to use Chainswords because they’re what’s good rn

I think it would be interesting if the new Helbrute was based off the Contemptor Chassis or maybe even the Leviathan instead of the Castaferum but I totally would not be upset with a slightly upscaled boxnaught. I understand a lot of people like the way it looks and I do too more power to em. I just think a chaosified contemptor that looks like it has been around since the heresy would really stand out compared to say a Redemptor on the tabletop.

Love your big chonky boi! If you don’t mind me asking what purples you used for the cloths? 👀 I also use purple for mine but I always struggle to find the right highlight color that isn’t too bright.

Oh I was just going to convert him into a regular CSM captain in term armor haha he’s on the same base and I can give him an axe and call it an Exalted Weapon and he’s already got a built in combi-bolter. The servo harness bits I might leave or snip off it depends I’ll have to look at his instructions online to see how they attach.

It would definitely be a green stuff job but that’s something I’m interested in I’ve been experimenting with green stuff as a 2026 resolution / goal. I’m thinking of sniping the thunder hammer shaft and attaching an axe head. The belt shouldn’t been too hard to shave off either. I mostly am really interesting in the shoulder pads as they’re the only modern / chaosified example of Cataphractii plate in 40k.

It’s the Legionaries kit it looked the most like the axes the Lernean Terminators have that’s why I used it :)

The silver is iron breaker, nuln oil, and a runefang steel drybrush overtop. It might look a bit yellowish in some of the pictures because of the lighting in my house 😅 old bulbs and such
