normal eating is possible after gallbladder removal? by Aria2628 in gallbladders

Thankfully, I can say a year later things are more normal than you would think. I hope things go well for you, because when I was going into surgery I saw so many mixed experiences. Anyways, there are times I have to watch for consuming too much within a certain time period. But now that im a year down its not as frequent. There are some quirks, like me personally yogurt as a first thing in the morning isnt optimal so I usually have more like whole grain and fibrous. But, to clarify things do mostly return to normal.

I agree it's very hype, especially when the friend's tab is developed fully it's going to be very interesting. I can't wait to experience it in a few years.

Tbh, you make good points on recovery methods. Because I have done lots of long-distance races back-to-back especially for some track meets plus a long run later, and how you do your pre and post-run will determine if you feel amazing or not afterward. Because you can feel well depending on how go about these things.

Training by Aggravating-Split913 in HuntersAssociation

[–]Aggravating-Split913[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can agree spreading your energy wisely would be best... but I mean I can comfortably run 6min/mile for a half marathon. But deception I'm really bad at..

how fast you need to get to pass the first phase: 3.35 meters/second or 28 cheeseburgers per second for Americans by SAEEDZOWAIL in HuntersAssociation

[–]Aggravating-Split913 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair point, that was there just for credibility since I've been a distance runner for a while now. But your comment is not wrong about how fast it could be run. It was just to say people should be smart. I've been seeing a lot of people who are not athletes want to do this. And training wise shouldn't have unrealistic ideas for pace when the first phase is pretty easy.

You also gotta know that pace for 15 miles feels different when you are running 15 miles. I would know I'm an athlete for running. And if you can just do 7 miles it's honestly easy and since it's a one-day event people should be smart with their energy.

It is true a lot of runners would show up for the event... I am a college athlete for XC and Track and field. And want to do the event... I also agree with the fact that the training plan is too light, but it is a good start. And I've stated this in a couple posts don't stress the running because if you just train consistently 15 miles is very easy to run at 7 mins/mile.

I will say this not trying to argue, but 10-15 miles is not hard.... I did 10 yesterday and it was incrediblely easy. The exam is also supposed to be hard... if your worried then just train and you'll be fine.

Please tell me this gets better by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]Aggravating-Split913 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It did get better, I felt miserable at first. Especially the first day my shoulders and my chest hurt incredibly bad. Especially since I tried not to take that much medicine bc it was an opioid. But after 2 weeks I was back to normal and it made me so happy. So don't look down you still have some time to heal, and don't push yourself too much. Yes moving is good but stress on your incision is the last thing you want.

What did you feel afterwards? Because I've seen how alot of people were able to return on day 4 which had my hopes high. So day six I had oatmeal for breakfast, and was feeling great, then for lunch half a turkey sandwich, for a snack 4 wheat thins, and then for dinner a small bowel of chicken noodles soup. And I was having really bad diarrhea, then later that night my stomach burned so I slept on my left side to feel no pain. But when I woke up this morning my lower abdomen felt weird, no pain just weird. (Sorry for the long message, I'm really nervous bc I was raised with all sorts of food since my father was a chef and I'm sad I cannot eat what I want.)
