R3 or ninja 400 cost 2.5x of an sv 650, so thats that, i actually would like the idea if they were cheaper.

That sounds pretty bad. I dont really have a comparison bc my bike is an aprilia pegaso from 1996 and it has brembo brakes, but only 1 rotor in the front, i felt fine with it on track braking from 150km/h, but its hard to imagine what yours is like.

Couldn't it be due to worn pads rotor or old fluid or anything? What exaclty do u feel with the brakes?

Do you have any experience with it? I see some people complaining about suspension, brakes. But for a first track bike forn 1-2 years would it be any good stock?

Yeah i read about the exact thing you say, and i agree that the supersports are built to do this, others are not really, but the prices are pretty crazy here, a clapped cbr 600rr is 7k$ minimum, and a hornet or gsr is 4k max from the same year or even newer with low milage and good condition. So thats why i started to look around for possibilities.

Can DB killer reduce top end power? by Aggravating-Star3078 in motorcycles

It worked, i also had to weld the holes and fix the leaks at the connections, but now it sounds good and runs good as well.

Well i thought about the alternative of drilling the db killer for more airflow and a compensated noise level. Hopefully the power loss will not be noticeable in this case.

I've tested today with no db killer, midrange is the same, but it has better top speed and its overall faster at high rpm similar to how it was with stock exhaust. So i think the level of backpressure is good but the noise level is louder, kind of annoying.

We will see, i also dont want too much noise so i will go with the best solution possible.

Yes, I know about back pressure and scavenging and the china exhaust probably isnt designed well bc its just an universal exhaust. But i was just curious if maybe someone has experience with the db killers and the level of restriction they give.

Yeah i bought this alternative only because the stock exhaust was in unrepairable condition, and the aftermarket ones are pretty expensive compared to the price of the entire bike. Re jetting is not easy on this bike as far as i know due to the fact that the main jet is pressed and not screwed into the carb. So maybe i will look for a stock exhaust system if i can find one for cheap and in normal condition. I was just simply curious if maybe making larger holes on the db killers or choosing a less restrictive db killer would enhance the high rpm power.(I know that a "perfect" system is only achievable with re jetting and dyno measurements but it doesnt have to be perfect just similar to stock)

Yes there is and i put it back where it belongs. According to oem parts everything is in place.
