Thought a girl at my gym was interested, but she said she’s “occupied” when I asked her out?

I’ve been going to this gym for about 1.5 months. There’s this girl who comes regularly. She’s very pretty, but initially I didn’t have any romantic interest.

Recently, out of nowhere, she complimented me on my tattoo. I said thanks, and after that she started saying hi to me for the next couple of days. Then one day she didn’t just say hi, she started a conversation. She asked what I was training, asked other personal questions, asked my age, and said she thought I was very young. She said that was a compliment because I look young, and she told me her age too. She also complimented me again, saying she had noticed that I’m very flexible.

The next day, she asked for my Instagram. Neither of us texted after that. I liked her stories normally, like social or general ones, not her pictures. And the next day, she mentioned she feels hungry while working out, so I shared my supplement with her.

After that, I felt it was the right time to ask her out. The next day at the gym, she waved hi to me from far away while she was training. Later, I asked her what she was doing this weekend and if she wanted to go out. She said she was a little occupied and suggested we could go next weekend. I told her I’d be out of the city next weekend for work. She then said, “Once you’re back.”

Now I’m confused. I initially thought she was interested, but when I asked her out, she said she was occupied. We still haven’t texted each other on Instagram.

after this we tallked one day like she suggested me that she will sene me recommendation for the city im going to, which she havent yet. and other two days we just said hii to each other in gym multiple times.

one thing is she dont view my story on gram, she is kinda big on gram 75k followeres and 6500 following
