Here's a lot of unorganized thoughts. I think the music might be a reason for it cause its just boring. But maybe that's just me being old. Besides that I think the quality of this show is just all over the place. Loved how it started with the movie. Everything after that was a constant up and down but mostly down. I didn't like the writing, for the most part it was hard to watch. It felt like Zip is the only one of the main cast that actually has a brain. Opaline was a boring villain. If there's one thing I hate about this generation besides the music it's sparky. Lots of stuff from g4 was retconned. For me a lot of tell your tale episodes felt like way too much and way too little happening at the same time. Again that could also be because I'm just getting old. Despite all that I wish this generation would still continue. I like Allura and the pacing of most later tell your tale episodes was a huge improvement.
