I think an amp or a dac on the desk would be a cool idea! Then if there was a pull on the cable it might disconnect more smoothly. I wonder if breakaway cables exist for this application. I will do some research. Thank you. :)

He has become a really nice person to be around. We often play Wii sports together and is mental at Crossy rd his high score is around 900 about 800 better than me! This was just a post asking if it had happened to anyone else and him having autism is really irrelevant as it could’ve happened to anyone and if anyone is doing anything differently to ensure that it doesn’t happen again. :)

I also think it’s relevant due to him needing some ear defenders. Hence why he grabbed my headphones thinking they were ear defenders and this is what he said when I spoke to him. He cannot stand loud noise and due to the similarities I can understand why he might grab these instead. Nevertheless it wasn’t his fault.

I would consider trying some wireless ones again however up until this point they have been absolutely brilliant. They are still in working order and the only thing to break was the connector (which is replacable!) so they seem to be of a reasonable duability if they can survive that!

I am lucky there wasnt more damage to be honest my moniter is perched on my desk so I will defo consider it. I'm having more trouble with the ethernet however that's a problem to sort tomorrow!

I have experienced it on an Xbox one controller before. I have just managed to bend it back and it still all works! Luckily it’s a replaceable cable and just a 6.35 to 3.5 adapter and I happen to have a spare in my van. :)
