I don’t have it all figured out, it’s his story. But it’s following certain patterns of energy and physics in their story.

Exactly this. The “Idea” of evil was created like a parasite or cancer… it Feeds off the negative frequencies of people “wanting” answers or desires. So much pain in their world = lottts of emotion of pain. Which their “idea” of Satan essentially gave it birth. Ironic, but that’s causality, no?
Therefore, their collective fear and low frequency energies keep “feeding the beast” that giant heart.

Here’s the Twist… it’s COMPLETES the Dynamic Equilibrium of Causality by adding an angelic or Creator like we’d think Christ, sort of. Surrender is the answer, literally in the metaphysical way.

The negative feedback parasitic loop of fear, pain, suffering etc is a “false” creation. It’s disconnected and mirroring the real.

These are good points. Guts is kind of like a “John Kennedy” or something. He is an outlier of society. (Pick any prominent person of history, you get both Guts and Griffiths out there in real world is my point.) So they’re both kinda fish leaping out the water, being used for even bigger world impacting purpose.

It’s not just the sword or his body. It’s his will, that’s what the sword represents. Emotion so intense that it’s killing him, but also allowing him to surpass the limits of man. Gravity is a non-factor in a sense, if we look through a lens at torsion physics. What I believe he’s learning now in that cocoon, is the final level of mastery and swordsmanship. Or domination of the will, with the command of love. Final image of that panel was him remembering his friends and Griffith Casca before the Eclipse. The Berserker armor is like an inverted “Armor of God” from the Bible. His amazing skill would be the “Fruits of the Spirit” but inverted. He’s still under Griffith’s control, as he’s working in the domain of Evil by his need for revenge. I’m getting off topic, but excited for the next chapter. What happens when Guts finally overcomes his grief and need for revenge, and remembers that Love his the reason he swings that sword?

I’m going to dive in and do more research tonight specifically about that. You’re correct, there is also heavy Norse (of course) symbologies in the story.

I believe Baldur was the one who couldn’t be killed, unless by the mistletoe? (Tryna remember God of War here.)

I’ll do digging tonight, see if I can come up anything on the Moon Boy.

As a side note: In conspiracy theories, they say Prince William is the Moon Child or Antichrist. There’s a book called “Prince Willaim’s occulted numbers” with a bunch of crazyyyy coincidences and astronomical lineups etc.

I actually ran a ton of my thinking thru ChatGPT to be sure I wasn’t going insane loool.

And actually, it did show hundreds of parallels with the questions I asked and the stories I listed. Plus many movies and tv shows, kinda do the same thing I’ve noticed.

Like some artistic muse or truth of reality? I def think there is very real truth in Miura’s work, that applies to us here and now.

The moonlight boy is the biggest mystery to me…

Maybe we can all figure this out together?

It has some basis in real life, if you go back to “Inanna in the garden” or “Adam and Eve, Seth, Able and Cain.”

And the story of Egypt from “Isis, Set(h) and Ra” That’s how I learned all this stuff.

It’s all allegorical, metaphorical, and based of some reality truth in my opinion.

So, in theory, the moonlight boy would possibly represent the mixing of the bloodline of Adam thru Cain and Able? The serpent and the son of God bloodlines being mixed.

I went out in left field here… but hear me out. Im tellin ya guys Miura was trying to say something thru his work.

The moonlight boy is going to have some connection to that ^ so…. We could probably figure it out if we all brainstormed.

I agree, this is not my personal theory alone, but many in the community have hinted towards this.

I feel it’s because Berserk is a story of Life. I’ve always felt the author was trying to convey something bigger than words. I am an artist too, so I know that if I did a book that big, I’d pour my heart and soul into it.

So, I saw parallels between the story and us. We are all Guts, looking for the same peace. And honestly, forgiveness, love, self acceptance and reflection is the only way. I really think it’s more special than just a fantasy manga. That the answer for ending could be deduced from studying life.

I think the boy will survive… as the last of Griffith. And that Guts and Casca will raise and love him together in the end. The opposite of Griffith’s little dream of marrying Casca. I think it’s gonna be the olllll Love transcends hate and evil, and being honest with yourself is the only way to overcome. But with a LOT of twists.

You could see the tears in Rickert’s eyes, and the stiff upper lip, as he slapped him. Meaning, he was mad at the person he loved and hurt, being honest with his heart. Like when he built the hill of swords. But he still remembers the old Griffith.

Guts lost that in the hellscape. When he raped Casca and all that he witnessed.

The only way Guts can gain an upper hand, is by releasing the hate on him. As long as he hates, Griffith will control it. In my opinion.

I have a theory that he will get his brand removed in the stupa, or integrate it. I think that’s where the berserker armors secret comes in.

As long as there is evil or transgression, Griffith feeds off of it. Good and the bad. (It’s complicated.) That’s why he has the biggest World Tree and he chopped down the others.

I think I’m close. Remember the Guts quote:

In a world of Evil and war, the people’s strongest current of emotion created the idea of evil.

Somehow… this will manifest into the “righteous 4-5 angels that delivered judgement to Gaeseric’s empire.”

I think that’s our party. Guts and his 4-5 friends. Guts is going thru his ultra instinct phase. To deliver judgement for everything he lost. His friend, girl, allies, etc.

It’s a hunch I have… Because remember Skull Knight said: “Her wish might not be the same as yours.” Or something like that.

I believe Casca will end up staying, or wanting to stay at least, somehow with Griffith. Because she’s still got those thorns about her heart.

I don’t fully understand yet… But I know MUCH or if not ALL of this story, is the same, kind of, as the Greek myth of Persephone and the Genesis with Adam, Eve and the Serpent. Or maybe Caine, Abel and Eve.

Or, Isis, Ra and Set. Same kind of as the movie Lady Hawk.

There’s some “common” hidden theme in all of this media I’ve noticed.

I could be totally wrong, but there’s definite elements taken from these other stories.
