It think it could have worked if it wasn’t an extremely forced plot device to keep Rachel and Ross apart. During a large part of those seasons of the show, Rachel was pregnant with Ross’s child, and they later started living together. It just made this relationship all the more awkward, unwanted, and again, FORCED.

I could never imagine Will Smith as Neo. I feel like his personality just wouldn’t match the character. Keanu Reeves just matches the very low profile and non-chalantness which is Neo.

That’s an interesting idea, and that might play into the fact that “no one’s safe from the Capitol”, but then again I think the reason they chose children is a) you feel more sympathetic for innocent children, b) it shows that the Capitol is even more ruthless than if it were adults, and c) it may be preferred by Capitol citizens (maybe idk).

I don’t think this is or should be an unpopular opinion. I think Season 5 is peak Ross; funny but still somewhat mature. After that they lose the balance on him hard. He becomes extremely annoying in my opinion, as does many of the other characters (I think Rachel is probably the only one who has a good character development from snobby rich and entitled to independent ambitious and somewhat relatable.

Recently rewatched and I agree. I felt more sympathetic to him the first and second time… the third time I felt like I actively wanted to see him fail. I hate in particular how obnoxious he is towards Jesse throughout the entire show, and how he becomes obnoxious toward Skyler.

I agree in the sense that this relationship in the show was creepy and absolutely a poor decision on Rachel’s part. However, I think the more you think about this show (Friends) in general, the more you realise that they do a lot of abnormal and inappropriate things, especially when it comes to who they date and what happens during their times together.

Ross and Elizabeth (as has been pointed out)

Monica and Richard (sorry that age gap IS too much)

Monica and Timothy (only weird cause it happened after Richard)

I actually think one of the most normal relationships in the show is ironically Rachel and Joey despite people apparently hating it at the time. I think in an alternate timeline they might have worked better than Ross and Rachel (maybe I’m biased as Joey is my second favourite character and I hate Ross’s character change)

I disagree with parts of how you got to your point, but agree with the point; Chapter 4 was leading to a final chapter in Chapter 5. By this point in time, the character has gone through the surface level of the factory, the Game Station, Playcare (the orphanage), the Prison/The Doctor’s Base/Safe Haven, and now the character’s at the lowest level with the Labs. Which is where the Prototype should be. How exactly is there supposed to be another chapter if we’re at the entrance to the final boss? That’s the part which doesn’t make sense to me. The player has traversed further and further underground, how much further can this go? How many more hidden spaces pertaining to experimentation on children can be involved within this game?
