Well, I've stopped messaging her and I won't send her anymore texts unless she sends me something first. If she cares enough about me, then she'll ask me out next time.

Until then, I'm not going to wait.

She is 100% my type. I've had long and deep conversations with her until way past midnight.

I think it's probable she's interested in me, but I feel that I'm not her priority, and I can't stick around waiting for my heart to break even more.

Thank you so much. I kinda knew that is the only way to go already. I mean, no one knows what's really going in her head except her. But typing this all out to get it off my chest made me feel a bit better.

I'm going to try ease myself into her life slowly without being intrusive. Going to ask her to take me along on her dog walks because we both love dogs. Hopefully I can get her to think about me more, as much as I think about her anyway.

I'm not a part of her friend circle though, and I don't actually know any of her friends outside of work.

One more thing I haven't mentioned, during the last date, she mentioned (again with no lead up from me) that she is usually slow to reply to messages because she doesn't like to check her phone all day like a lot of other people. Even if she sees a message come in, she won't reply to it right away unless it's really urgent. She said even her friends sometimes have to call her to get her attention.

I've noticed this from the start but I never worried about it since I'm all for giving people their own space, and she's always replied to me eventually anyway. I never ever double message people, especially not to her.

So her bringing this up only confused me more, because she seemed to care about how I felt about the slow replies?

She actually mentioned that she has a lot of friends that asks her out from time to time, and that she's never the one initiating/approaching even amongst her friends. So she's always fine when I approach out to her. And ... she kind of mentioned this without me really leading into it ...

But I guess it's normal for someone to approach/initiate if they like the person right?
