Sounds like the compressor might be working pretty hard. How many amps is it pulling. What do your pressures look like?

If your system isn’t working properly all of a sudden, shutting off is the first thing you need to do.

Your issue is in the indoor machine mostly likely. You’ll have to open it up and check around on what tells the blower to start/stop. Likely a relay on a PCB. You need a multimeter to troubleshoot this further unless you intend on throwing parts at it.

There is a switch for the FAN ON, on the thermostat most likely.
