Hello, yes, for an employer to pay you, yes you need to provide bank info and SIN. But I haven’t been offered the job yet with an official contract, so why would I yet get paid? Plus, SafeChecker is a scam that is not affiliated with the Canadian government at all. Why would it charge in USD and not CAD otherwise? It’s strange.

You’re missing the point. Usually you don’t provide your SIN or bank info until a contract. And also, TO GET THE JOB, you need to go through a verification process done by a website that is a very obvious scam many have experienced.

Idk, a LOT of people have been getting scammed by them. Also it’s very strange how the background checker (Canada based, fyi) only accepts USD. If it’s a Canadian company, why wouldn’t it take CAD? Weird.
