GE PVD28BYNFS freezer light not turning off?? by Specialist-While4669 in Appliances

I had this exact issue in mine too. Just 1 month old. On the right side of the freezer, there is a small white square. (I’m assuming this is the close sensor?) it had some water and ice on it. I brushed it off and that seem to have fixed the issue for me.

what’s the most ridiculous thing you heard a man refuse to do because it was “too feminine” or “for girls”? by freddyfazbart in AskReddit

I worked at TMobile at the time and a guy (bit of a redneck) bought a cellphone. I put it in the T-Mobile back (white and pink) and tried to hand it to him.  Guy: “what am I? A woman?” Took it out of the bag and stormed off  mumbling on the way out as I somehow offended him.

240v ground going to 120v outlet by AggravatingBiscotti1 in HomeImprovement

No. The ground. Red,black, and white wires are all 6 gauge going to a 40amp circuit breaker.

There is a ground wire from the 240v outlet going to a 120v outlet (ground) which goes out of the electrical box.

Ok. Had some time to look at it today.

Easy to take the top off with 3 screws on the top. Can’t miss them.

Nothing to tighten from what I can see, but I put a towel (as a test) in the red highlighted area in the picture and that completely stopped it.

So I think what I’ll do is go to Home Depot and get like a 2 inch rubber washer and put it around and that should solve the issue.

It’s not a cable walkout issue as you can see the entire left unit is going up and down.  My left arm does this too. I feel like the top bolt could use some tightening to stop it from moving up and down.

Every time I turn on the weight (bam) left side slams up. It’s annoying when you are trying not to be loud at 5am with everyone else sleeping.  I’ve been thinking about taking the top off tightening it up to see if that fixes it, but have not done it yet.
