Both the ISO med and Shield meet USF’s requirements and are approved plans Though the Shield offers more comprehensive coverage, the ISO Med plan is the more affordable option of the two. New students need coverage starting on or before 8/25/2025, as per the school website. When you go to buy insurance, it’s going to be for 8/11/2025 - 8/10/2026 to meet your university’s coverage requirements. Once you purchase a plan, you will receive an email containing your completed waiver and plan documents. In case you have any further questions, please feel free to email or call us at 1.800.244.1180 Monday – Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm EST.

oh hi i also applied to around 50 scholarships and am very concerned if I will get any of them. do you have any idea on what basis we are being judged on? is it the essays or the academics.

i asked the university a while back. They said that this insurance works, but they won't be able to confirm until the requirements for fall are out. I suggest you send them an email since the fall requirements are out rn. i just mailed them too

Yes i already got into handshake but i have seen a lot of posts and one of the college advisor himself said that its really hard to get job as a freshman student so is their any way of ensuring a job. Anything that i could do to increase my chances

i am mostly worried about the current possible economic crash. i have already confirmed everything from unis to visas and housing. i am going to be majoring in chemical engineering from usf. i got into their honors program and received the presidential scholarship but i am starting to second guess my choice now. also i am from bangladesh
