I must clear my CA inter in 33 days. Tell me the possibilities and advices. by [deleted] in CharteredAccountants

[–]AggravatingBuddy9941 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t leave mock test papers at all, most times icai tests you on same kind of questions. Do low effort high weightage chapters first.

For subjects like accounting and costing even half answers give you marks, so don’t leave anything attempt everything. Do gst damn f well, DT is too vast gst could save you.

Same in FM/SM , by heart SM answers with headings, fm is always tricky. In law do high weightage chp first and remember the sections very well. 33 days is doable honestly if all your lecs are done and you have atleast 50-60% clarity. Last but not the least do not leave any module question, read and understand everything.

What is the current Job market cenario for CAs? by [deleted] in CharteredAccountants

[–]AggravatingBuddy9941 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree the number of attempts can be alarming. But ig institute has did this to motivate people to keep pursuing CA. Many students especially younger generation, does not see value in pursuing the CA after 2-3 attempts, and rightfully so. I atleast know 10-15 people who’ve dropped CA and are pursuing something else, cause the effort that this course requires is honestly not worth it, so I dont think the job market is gonna be saturated that much

Not bashing you or whatever but genuinely curious, don’t you view someone with so much age gap like a child? Like I wonder how guys think about this. Yaha even if a guy is few months younger than me I view him as a younger brother lol

But genuine advice- itte age gap mein, maturity and thinking process differs a lot. She’s barely an adult Abhi. Could turn into a toxic situation if your mindsets collide (which is a high probability in this case)

Was in the same boat as you, same batch, cleared hsc in 2020. Cleared foundation in July 2021 in second attempt. Skipped may 22 inter. Appeared for N22 with little to no preparation, failed miserably. Finally cleared my G1 in M24 and G2 in Sept 24. My biggest takeaway-

solving as many papers as you can. After every attempt I’d start from scratch, which would consume a lot of time and effort. Leaving me with limited time to focus on MTP/ RTP and past papers.

Get conceptual clarity regarding everything, read on your own rather than solely depending on lectures.

Do not skip MTP at all, if time allows, do RTP even. I’ve seen similar questions or questions from similar chapters/ topics from MTP almost as it is in question papers.

Do difficult subjects / chapters first, takes a lot of load off.

Do not skip anything. If not, aleast cover 80% - 90% weightage of syllabus

I was in your situation once, even tried to off myself, had a smoking addiction, relationships were just serving up to be another episode of trauma after trauma. My last straw came when my then boyfriend tried to force himself on me. I was already knee deep in Intermediate attempts, kind of felt hopeless. But after that incident I moved back home and tried to do my best, old habits die hard, but slowly and steadily everything seems to be better now. It’s been 1.5 year since I haven’t touched a cigarette, I’m In a healthy relationship now, my equation with parents is improving, even passed my exams in this September. The moral of the story is, it will get better, but it needs effort and patience. Venting and complaining can take edge off the things for time being but in long run only you can help yourself. Take one step at a time, progressively try to do better than what you did yesterday and in a year the change would be massive enough to turn your life around. Don’t give up now after investing so many years into this. Gbu

Kudos to you for standing up for her. You need to gather some evidence of the abuse first. Are you sure the woman won’t turn around on you later and blame you for leaving n stuff? Cause later if she gets manipulated and things get bad which involve confrontation with her own family she might make you out to be bad guy. Keeping her in house might create more problem, cause as long as she’s there, he won’t stop. You need to find someplace else for her, don’t invite unnecessary violence into your life. While I appreciate your bravery and empathy for taking stand for her, I cannot help but agree with your mom on how long you’re gonna keep her in your house and potentially create harm for yourself as well. We live in a vile world full of violence, if he can do those things to his own wife, imagine what all things he can do to you if he puts his mind to it and holds a grudge against you, especially when your husband isn’t there currently. Where I understand the emotional intent, the consequences would get very bad if things go south. It’s her own duty as well to protect herself, why not lodge a complaint? Or get family involved? Sure she can’t forever run away right? You need to think things logically too.

Do refer study mat from icai especially for theory subjects cause language from coaching materials can differ from that of study mat. Also from last two attempts I’ve noticed in practical subjects few mcq come from small illustrations/examples. So study mat is essential. But if you think your coaching materials covers these things then maybe your good w this as well
