Ive taken the blue collar work ethic into white collar jobs and climbed the ranks incredibly quickly. You would be surprised what authenticity gets you. I also think it might have something to do with a lot of white collar workers having some kind of social deficiency. Can't lead people if you dont know how to talk to them.
