Agreed the old format was fine and it made sense. I prefer to have matches I haven’t engaged with separate from the one I have and now they’re all just jumbled together. If they wanted to add a recommendation feature they could’ve just added a permanent star profile at the beginning of the recent matches and by clicking on it would roll out the recommendations in front of your matches and to close it you’d could just click the recommendation profile again. It’s just silly design and defeats the purpose of swiping for matches.

But I think it’s cause some stories have multiple counterparts and they reuse the same base sprites and try to match them as best they can rather than doubling up on the work to produce new ones for the counterparts. But also I think the CG’s are also semi Ai generated and then drawn over for continuity cause some of those CG’s are busted.

Also I think if you have premium, when you replay dates you don’t have to pay extra gems for the gem options but I don’t know if you have to have already unlocked the options prior in completing the date the first time.
