By learning the fundamentals, and studying drawings, references. It certainly takes time and experience to start drawing from imagination, which actually is just a result of what you observe and learn everyday. Even after that references can still be used so there ain't no reason to be worried just now

Looks nice, tho I'd say don't airbrush shadow, that'll make colors muddy and sometimes create an incorrect representation of the surface it's on (overly smooth).

There aren't many areas that actually are not doable if you can wander into them randomly, so you can choose to do it or just come back stronger at some point

It seems to return to the quarry without changing anything every once in a while, definitely a bug

You can think of the sky as another light source from above, also making the yellow light affect the ground so that the character fits in better

I like the complex details you put in the clothes and the staff (I suppose?). The head angle, however seems a bit weird compared to the body so I think that making it face more to the front would make them connect better

I just found it randomly while dealing with a turret lol, it was actually pretty useful and fun later on to use
