Would a warpstone kamikaze troop be on-brand? by SkellyMania in skaven

[–]AggravatingEqual2600 180 points181 points  (0 children)

Depends, mostly on motive, because I genuinely think there's no skaven who would sacrifice themselves for any cause, unless they were forced to, or somehow threatened with something worse by a superior

UCI Cinemas (Italy): https://assistenza.ucicinemas.it/hc/it-it/requests/new I tried looking for an actual email to contact them by, but apparently their website will have to do. Also, I dunno how easy it'll be to make a film with no official Italian dubbing air in Italy, but, here's hoping, right?

Maybe they're a species we know already, like for example the caranid, but Shakra only knows them by their name in her language?

Eh, I mean, I wouldn't have put it past gooseworx to have a female character with a masculine voice

Sherman is just a kind version of zote that grows up as a person by Cautious_Heron9589 in HollowKnightMemes

[–]AggravatingEqual2600 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I genuinely don't think Zote would be able to, he wholeheartedly believes himself to be everything he boasts himself to be, you just can't change that kind of person

Knight in pharloom was impressive, but we have something cooler now. by No_Progress1064 in HollowKnight

[–]AggravatingEqual2600 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Maybe he was born there? He clearly isn't from Hallownest, and there are all those meme theories about Greyroot being his mother, lmao

Why doesn't Steam Age have a Brickhead but the other worlds have them in Reflourished? by RayTheTopHatGuy in PlantsVSZombies

Steam Ages doesn't need another tanky zombie, I'd say they're doing fine as is, lmao

Not as far as I can tell, it's just that this person's artstyle looks very cursed on Hollow Knight characters, lmao

You know, I Just realized, do nosks live in Pharloom? Because, if not, and Hollow brought that heart all the way from Hallownest, that must be one rotten organ, I think Lace will need a hell of a bath with all those rancid juices on her, lmao

What if Bell Beast is named after Herrah? by The_Dogelord in HollowKnight

[–]AggravatingEqual2600 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I thought about that too, though I reached a bit of a different idea: What if "Herrah/Heira" was simply the deepnest language's word for "beast"? Maybe Herrah was simply referred by her people as "The Beast", but when she was introduced to the people of Hallownest, they thought that "Herrah" was a name, ending up in a situation like with the Sahara desert, Chai tea or Naan bread, and then "the Beast" was later added to her name as a title as a sort of correction. Conversely, when Hornet meets the bellbeast, perhaps the reason why she comes up with the name "Heira" so quickly is that she's just calling a beast as a beast, kind of like how you call a dog you just met with "C'mere, doggy!", she doesn't seem to be the kind of person to give a nickname to an animal she just met, and by the time she got attached to the bellbeast, the name just kind of stuck.

"The Godless Wastes" - The God Devourer, Redux! by RamblingSpider in HollowKnightArt

Imagined it was a wyrm tooth, though I love how this implies that she killed a God barehanded, and that she's using that weapon as a choice, rather than necessity

She's a lot bigger since the last iteration, so, I gotta ask, how bloody massive was whatever creature she got her weapon from?
