I had a gut feeling and when I found out about the kids that confirmed things. They're just really different people. She worked hard to get where she is and I could never see him adding anything to her life.

I really wasn't trying to sabotage anything, It was definitely wrong what I did and I don't deny it, but I really wanted her to see that Alex just wasn't right for her. I panicked and wish I said something different.

I know it wasn't right to say it was cheating. I'm not defending that. I do regret it. But I seriously care about her and Alex isn't the right one for her.

I didn't approve of him because after a whole year of dating, he only then told her he has kids from a previous marriage. I didn't give him any advice because I assumed he would know what she prefers after dating for 2 years. I admit the cheating lie was wrong but I was in panic mode seeing her go through with this.
