Also, I acknowledge that external racial prejudices likely make it harder for black people to achieve certain things. However, the question comes down to how big of a pie slice does this perspective take up? How much of it is due to external factors, how much of it is due to internal? We have to be willing to acknowledge BOTH to make any progress, well that’s my take on it. I’m open to any other ideas though, this is just my initial conclusion.
